Wolters Kluwer Transport Services, the European leading provider of Transport Management Software and Services, and Cargo.LT, the Lithuanian leading freight exchange active in the Baltic states, announced they have started a close collaboration between their freight exchanges Teleroute, BursaTransport, 123Cargo and Cargo.LT to make the European transport market safer. The partnership involves sharing blacklists of fraudulent customers and aligning safe market procedures. Both companies are convinced their collaboration is beneficial for all actors in the European transport industry.
Collaboration for safety
The partnership between the two companies, effective since today, involves four freight exchanges: Cargo.LT, Teleroute, BursaTransport and 123Cargo. It includes sharing best practices such as the verification process of onboarding new customers on any of the freight exchanges, debt mediation collaboration, and the sharing of their blacklist of fraudulent customers and bad payers. This way, a fake transport company who has been detected by one of the freight exchanges will not be allowed to go on another of the partnering freight exchanges.
Fabrice Maquignon, Managing Director of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services, says:
This type of partnership reinforces our 99,99% secure deals data. We strive every day to be the safest pan-European freight market place and to make every freight delivery a success. We are looking forward to sharing best practices between Cargo.LT, Teleroute, BursaTransport and 123Cargo.
Laurynas Aidietis, Managing Director of Cargo.LT, adds:
A safe market is of paramount importance for Cargo.LT, and this is an opportunity for us to take responsibility to make the market safer. This collaboration is the logical step for our development and the strengthening of freight safety in Europe.
This partnership stems from a joint commitment to improve the marketplace and is important for the future of freight exchange and the transport business in Europe. By spreading the word and sharing relevant information, more freight will be delivered safely and on time all over Europe, which will increase clients’ trust in the transport market.
